The Village Manager is the chief administrative officer for the Village and is responsible for implementing the policies of the Village Council. He directs Village activities, submits reports, makes recommendations to the Village Council and its various Boards and Committees, and represents the Village at various official meetings and functions. He, in collaboration with the department heads, is responsible for preparing the annual municipal budget for approval by the Council.
In addition to his municipal management responsibilities, the Village Manager must coordinate, develop and implement local ordinances, services, community relations and economic development to ensure the high quality of life for community residents.
