13 Mile and Southfield Road Intersection Construction July 31-August 2
On Friday, July 31, 2020, the contractor will begin to transition to the second stage of construction on the 13 Mile
Road Reconstruction Project (Evergreen Rd. to Southfield Rd.). The first part of the phase switch will be to rehabilitate
the intersection of 13 Mile & Southfield. In order to expedite the work in this busy and prominent intersection, the
contractor will close east and westbound traffic through the intersection and restrict north and southbound traffic to one
lane only. These closures will begin promptly at 7:00am Friday July 31, 2020 and will last through the evening of
Sunday, August 2, 2020. The contractor will be working tirelessly through the weekend to complete the work during
this one weekend. Your assistance would be appreciated, please try to avoid the 13 Mile Road and Southfield Road
intersection the weekend of July 31st through August 2nd. We thank you in advance for your patience as we navigate
this difficult task of rehabilitating a critical, but much needed, intersection.
