Temporary Lane Closure on Evergreen Nov 12th and 13th

The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner will be performing meter testing in Beverly Hills on November 12th and 13th.  Below are the descriptions of the work and locations. Each closure should only take about two hours for sanitary sewer meter testing. The work can take place between 9:00am and 3:00pm, outside of high traffic times. A traffic control consultant will be on site for all necessary signage and flagging for the closures.

Meter 3240, planned for November 12, 2020
This test involves the closure of the southbound land of Evergreen Road between Coryell and Embassy, plus tapers.  Because Evergreen Road is one lane in each direction, this work includes three signmen to direct traffic (north end, south end, and at Embassy) and closure of the end of Coryell at Evergreen.  This test also includes setting plug in the 8” lateral sewer at SOT037001 at Embassy Road; this plug can be removed and reset to drain the lateral sewer.  Each plug removal and reset time should be noted and the test should be extended to replace the data during that time.  Start time will depend on the permission received for the lane closure, the test is expected to take about 2 hours (plus added time for any plug removal).

Meter 3300, planned for November 13, 2020
This test involves the closure of the southbound land of Evergreen Road from just south of Riverside to just south of Wellesley, plus tapers.  Because Evergreen Road is one lane in each direction, this work includes three signmen to direct traffic (north end, south end and at Wellesley).  Start time will depend on the permission received for the lane closure, the test is expected to take about 2 hours.

Alternative dates planned for November 20 and 24 if necessary.
