Riverside Bridge Construction to begin July 15

In an effort to upgrade the Riverside Bridge (Riverside Dr. just east of Evergreen Rd.) the Village of Beverly Hills is repairing the bridge deck, sidewalks and barrier walls. Construction is scheduled to start on July 15, 2024. The scope of the project includes:

• Removal and replacement of portions of the Riverside bridge deck.
• Sidewalk and bridge railing & repairs.
• Repairs to the bridge barrier concrete inlaid sandstone façade.
• Installation of water proofing deck sealer.

To complete this work, the Riverside Bridge will be CLOSED during construction. The duration of the closure is expected to be up to 8 weeks. Procedures are in place to minimize the duration of the road closure and detours will be in place to route traffic along Lincoln St. and Beverly Road. Local traffic will be maintained.
