Ice Storm Update for the Afternoon of 2/24/23
Ice Storm Update - There are still numerous power outages throughout the Village. DPW continues to remove and chip fallen branches, and they will continue the chipping into next week. If branches have fallen on private property and they need to be removed, please move them to the side of the curb. Please be advised that DPW cannot dispose of branches greater than 6 inches.
DTE will be prioritizing down lines that provide a threat to the public. DTE sent out an update this morning that can be viewed by clicking here. DTE is still currently estimating that 95% of customers should have their power restored by Sunday, February 26, 2023.
Warming centers are open in Oakland County to provide relief. A list of open warming centers can be found by clicking here. Updates will be provided when additional information becomes available.
